Kids Zone Activities

Bubbles! Who doesn’t like bubbles? Kids participate in a bubble activity from the Museum of Science’s Engineering is Elementary Unit.

Activites For All Ages

Practice yoga with Spaulding Rehab Hospital in an adaptive session either seated in a wheelchair or regular chair. Yoga will run at 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m only.

Dance class led by Urbanity Dance, sample classes designed for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease and other movement-based limitations. Dance classes will run at 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. only.

 'Play in the Park' offers a variety of materials for visitors to explore how play informs contemporary art through the creation of large-scale collaborative structures, with Emily Garner from the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum.

Hands-on, tactile experience with turtles with Massachusetts Audubon’s Drumlin Farm

"Yellow Bird Chase," a new story for all ages told using mask, puppetry, and gibberish with Liars and Believers

Handchime playing adaptable for any learning style (no prior music experience necessary) led by the South Shore Music Conservatory

Sidewalk chalk art installation!  Very Special Arts will commemorate one of Boston’s favorite artists and social activist, “Sidewalk Sam.” All chalk artists welcome!

Arts and crafts chain-making activity with Easter Seals’ youth leaders inviting everyone to join them to link people with and without disabilities together to help carry the promise of the ADA today

Draw, mold clay, create music or write poetry with the Partners for Youth with Disabilities as they will create a collective ADA collage using mutiple arts and crafts

Try out stationary adaptive cycling by All Out Adventures, in partnership with the DCR Universal Access Program.

Try out both standard and adaptive rowing machines with Community Rowing, Inc.

Scavenger hunt with STAVROS Outdoor Access
